The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge and skills decorating a wedding cake. Students who have successfully completed this course shall be able to:

  1. Produce covered cake boards, complete with cleats
  2. Arrange flowers with appropriate florist tools
  3. Produce flood work
  4. Perform sugar craft work including sugar lace, pipe embroidery, filigree work, flounce and frills
  5. Assemble 3-tier wedding cake
